Vietnam Visa Immigration
Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a visa from one of the Vietnamese embassy, consulate in your country of residence or via agency on arrival. Unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months
Vietnamese Government has proposed the policy to issue electronic visa for citizens of some countries to enter and exit Vietnam. Citizens of 80 countries shall be issued e-visa if they provide enough information and comply with the procedure on the Electronic visa issuance website.
Generally, foreign visitors must exit and enter into Vietnam again to renew their permission to remain. However, exiting and re-entering sometimes are time-consuming and costly.
