VIETNAM VISA

Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a visa from one of the Vietnamese embassy, consulate in your country of residence or via agency on arrival. Unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months

1. Citizens of Brunei and Myanmar are granted bilateral visa-free entry no more than 14 days;

2. Citizens of Philippines are granted bilateral visa-free entry no more than 21 days;

3. Citizens of Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan are granted bilateral visa-free entry no more than 30 days;

4. Citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belarus are granted unilateral visa-free entry no more than 15 days

5. Citizens with APEC business cards from member economies of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) are granted visa-free entry with no more than 60 days of residence;

6. For tourists to Phu Quoc, Vietnam: Foreigners and abroad residing Vietnam citizens entering Vietnam through an international border and travelling to Phu Quoc island, then residing under 15 days are granted Vietnam visa free entry. Passport are required at least 45 day validity. After entering Phu Quoc, in case travelers want to have a visit to other destinations or reside in the island more than 15 days, they will be offered Vietnam visa by the Immigration department right in the island;

 

Kindly note that the citizens of Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Finland, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belarus are granted unilateral visa-free entry no more than 15 days, after 15 days visa exemption they must leave Vietnam for their home or another country and it takes at least 30 days of waiting since the latest date of Vietnam exit to enter again without Vietnam visa.

Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a visa from the Vietnamese embassies or consulates in your country of residence or via Tour Operators to apply approval letter in advance. The Approval Letter is the legal document approved by the Vietnam Immigration Department to allow foreigners enter into Vietnam and pick up visa at the Vietnam’s international airports either Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang or Cam Ranh airport, a legitimate alternative to obtaining a full visa stamp from the Vietnamese Embassy, in your own or another country, is to opt for a very simple and much cheaper, visa on arrival (VOA). Once issued, this visa is exactly the same as a visa issued by any Vietnamese embassy/consulate, with the same limitations and conditions attached to its use.

Visas can be applied for at most Vietnamese embassies and consulates or online. The cost of applying for a visa depends on your nationality, as well as the embassy or consulate you are applying at. Check with the Vietnamese embassy or consulate in your country of residence for details. If your country does not have a Vietnamese embassy or consulate, a popular alternative would to apply at the Vietnam’s international airports

1. Visa is valid once or multiple times and not for conversion purposes.

2. Visa shall be issued for each person; except for children under 14 years old, they shall share passports with their parent or guardian.

3. Visa shall be issued in a passport or issued separately.  

There are many kinds of visas which are issued by Vietnam Immigration Department for plenty of purposes to Vietnam. However, foreigners who wish to come to Vietnam for the purpose of travelling should apply for DL visa (visa issued for travel) with the duration of stay does not exceed 3 months.

You can go to the nearest Vietnam Embassy in your country or whichever country you might be staying at the time to apply for a Visa to Vietnam. The procedure may take 2-5 working days to get Vietnam visa. You are required to send in your passport along with some other documents when applying for Vietnam visa at an embassy.

Since 2015, foreigners who wish to visit Vietnam have had another option aside from going to local embassies. It is to get Vietnam visa on arrival. This is probably the easiest way to obtain Vietnam visa as all services from Tour Operators in Vietnam. The Entry Visa will be stamped on your passport as you pass through our Immigration Checkpoint.

Please do not forget that visa on arrival is only applicable for those traveling by air to Vietnam and your visa will be stamped at the Vietnam airport.

- Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City

Vietnam Visa on arrival is the type of visa picked up at Vietnam airports. For this type of visa, you need to submit Vietnam approval letter together with your passport (at least 6 months validity), two passport-sized photos, entry and exit form and stamping fee to Immigration Officers at the airport, the visa will be stamped onto your passport. 

Vietnam Visa approval letter is a document issued by Vietnam Immigration Department (Vietnam Ministry of Public Security), which supports foreigners to get Vietnam visa upon arrival at Vietnam international airports. 

1.  Your full name (exactly as in your passport)

2.  Date of birth (DOB)

3.  Nationality

4.  Passport Number

5.  Proposed arrival date

6.  Purpose of visit

By submitting visa approval letter and some other required items, you can get your stamp in five international airports in Vietnam: Noi Bai in Hanoi, Tan Son Nhat in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang Airport in Danang City, Cam Ranh and Phu Quoc only.

No, this document is only applicable for those travelers by air to Vietnam.

Normally, after you finished your visa application and made your payment, you will get your visa approval letter via email within 1 working day for urgent service, 3 working days for normal service 

It's very simple. Please follow 3 simple steps:

Step 1: Get Vietnam visa approval letter from Vietnam Tour Operators or Travel Agencies

Step 2: Print visa approval letter in hand to be presented at the check-in counter of the airline and also upon arrival at International Airport of Vietnam

Step 3: Upon arrival at International airports of Vietnam you must show the visa approval letter, passport, 2 passport-sized photos, entry and exit form is given onboard before landing, and stamping fee then your visa will be stamped.

The visa fee includes the stamping fee, which you pay directly to the immigrant officer at the airport, and the service fee to process the visa approval letters you pay directly to the Tour Operator or Travel Agencies. The prices may vary depending on which service you choose.

Remember that the stamping fees are compulsory and there are two levels: US $25 for one-month and three months single entry visa and US $50 for 1 month and three-month multiple entry visa. You can pay either in US dollar (USD) or Vietnamese Dong (VND), however, the former is recommended. 

Single entry visa: You are permitted to enter Vietnam ONCE during your visa validity. If you would like to re-enter you need to apply for multiple entry visa.

Multiple entry visa: You can enter and exit Vietnam many times as you want during your visa validity. 

No, you cannot. You need to enter on exact date of arrival granted in your visa approval letter. 

Yes, you can enter later than the granted arrival date in visa approval letter providing that you exit by granted exit date.

For service fee, you pay to us by following options:

- Using Credit/Debit card via Onepay/Paypal

- Sending  money via Western Union

- Sending money via Bank Transfer (recommended for those are in Vietnam)

For stamping fee, you need to pay in cash (USD) to Immigration officer at Immigration

Control Desk.

You cannot apply for your Vietnam visa when your passport is expired. In your case, please renew your passport before applying your Vietnam visa. So before applying visa, you need to check your passport to make sure it is valid for at least 6 months.

Following is the list of regulations regarding photographs for Vietnam visa on arrival:

- Two photos are required (one glued on the entry and exit form, one is presented if needed)

- Photographs must be 4x6 cm size, with white background, front view, bare head, without sunglasses, taken within the past 6 months.

The eight international airports in Vietnam are in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hue and Chu Lai with more than 30 international airlines flying to and from Vietnam to destinations around the world. However, these three international airports also serve as the major hubs for domestic flights within Vietnam, with all other domestic flights connecting through one of these hubs.

TOUR AND BOOKING

When on tour, your tour guide is the first point of contact if more important your guide will contact our operation manager to solve at all

The first step is for your client’s to ask tour guide to contact the local Operation so that the situation can be resolved straightaway. If the hotel is still unable to find their booking, they must contact us at one of the given numbers of contact person.

Please call the emergency number of the person in charge of your service listed on your itinerary or service voucher. If you don’t have a mobile or cell phone, please ask the airport staff to show you to the nearest phone booth. Normally the driver is at the airport, and it is a matter of giving you directions so that you can find the driver.

After collecting your luggage and completing the immigration and customs procedures, you will walk through the exit gate. Take your time to look for a burgundy colored welcome sign with the Indochina Di Travel logo and your name (as pictured) being held by one of our drivers or tour guides. Airports in Vietnam and South East Asia are often crowded but they are safe. Please take your time to look around and attempt to locate our representative.

We require an upfront 20% deposit for your reservation. You can pay by bank transfer.
