Vietnam Visa Immigration
Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a visa from one of the Vietnamese embassy, consulate in your country of residence or via agency on arrival. Unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months
Vietnam visas may be issued for a validity ranging from one month to one year, but this is dependent on the purpose and proposed duration of the trip. Generally, most Vietnam visas are issued for duration from one to three months.
Entities that invite or sponsor foreigners to enter Vietnam as companies established within Vietnam’s Law; Representative offices, branches of foreign traders; representative offices of other foreign economic, cultural, and professional organizations in Vietnam; Vietnamese citizens residing in Vietnam; Provincial communist parties, the People’s Councils, the People’s Committees of provinces.
You must have a valid passport and a visa (or pre-approval for a visa on arrival) to enter Vietnam. Your passport must be valid for six months beyond your planned stay and you must have at least one blank visa page.
